We are proud to be the only manufacturer in North America completely independent of any original equipment manufacturer.
Our state-of-the-art welding department is capable of refurbishing any component in a cost-effective way. The non-ferrous foundry is capable of making any sized bronze part. The machining department is capable of machining in excess of 5-meter diameter parts weighing 150,000 lbs. Our custom vertical press is the largest in Canada with a capacity of 2000 tons to forge or dismantle all sizes of shafts. We provide in house non-destructive testing, metallurgical testing, portable CMM and 3D laser scanning, large capacity stress relieving oven, small batch heat treat ovens and a variety of other modern tools.

Our Path to Success
Rahnmet began as a foundry in 1929 and started manufacturing crusher parts in the late 1930’s. For a period of 25 years beginning in the 1960’s, it manufactured exclusively for the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Since the beginning, Rahnmet has expanded the facility footprint and modernized each department as markets grew. In over 90 years of operation, we have successfully transitioned through three generations without compromising our vision.
Our facilities and technical database enable us to supply solutions for most crushers and maintain Rahnmet’s uncompromising commitment to quality.
